That fairy bitch was supposed to send me back to Fillory not beige soccer mom hell. That wasn't part of our deal. 	The Wellspring went out. El was in a duel he couldn't win without magic. The fairies could fix it. They wanted El's baby in return. I said yes. I've been here for almost three months and I know Eliot's been here longer. I don't know how much longer. We aren't exactly on speaking terms.

You and I weren't either. Before. Last time you were here.

Quentin might be able to tell you better but from my understanding of how all this works, people are from all different points in time. Sometimes you are further along than they are.
