There's a lot of entertainment media on the laptop you could amuse yourself with. Are you from somewhere that stories would be told verses movies watched?

Ah, that explains it. Movies are stories that are acted out like plays, but are recorded onto film and then you can play them on the device you're typing this on. There's a whole library on it, go to the media folder and you'll see links to services that will play music and movies.
