I'm disappointed in Tumbleweed.

I went to the Farmer's Market today, and I didn't find a single farmer for sale.

Nah, it's from a nursery rhyme. I don't even think I know what a cockle shell is.

The market should've had those.

I looked it up. A cockle is a burrowing mollusk with a hard shell. How the hell do those grow in a garden?

They did, in abundance. I'm planning on a feast.

It's a nursery rhyme. They're not supposed to make sense.

Ashes ashes we all fall down - refers to sneezing and being sick just before dying. Actually, that whole nursery rhyme is about the bubonic plague. How's that for a kid's tune?

Oh, yeah! I knew that one.

Humpty Dumpty's something too, right?

Some people say it refers to a type of canon Royalists during the English Civil War, but I don't know. I was there and I never heard of their canons being called that.

Might just be about an egg somebody left on the wall.

Cockles are edible molluscs.

They got them around Tumbleweed? Or are they native to some other part of the world?

Do not get me started about how hard it is to find decent seafood here. They're coastal.

East, I think. They may have been introduced further in this world though, there are very few people in what's left of the Americas where I'm from.

Cockles are oysters, like gulls are birds. And that sounds like more oysters for me.

That's less of a consideration when you live underwater.

You live underwater?

That must stink, considering this place is smack dab in the middle of a desert.

How are you able to breath on land? Do you have a special apparatus? Are you amphibious?

I'm Atlantean. And yes, my mother is hum amphibious like my father. We've got some human blood.

They might not be bad if they're fried. Frying anything in a batter makes them automatically 300% more delicious.
