Around noon today, a courier shows up to your doorstep and hands you an envelope.

Inside is a minimalist invitation to a "Come As You Aren't" social gathering (from 6pm until 11pm that evening at the Tumbleweed Hotel's grand reception hall) and a gift card to SPOOKTACULAR in the amount of $100. While it's not a Halloween gathering, it's more of a get to know you shindig by coming as something you're not.

There will be some social games for people to figure out things about you as a way for us to tell things about ourselves that we wouldn't automatically think to ask. There are non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. A few local NPCs have been hired to watch small children.

​AT THIS PARTY: ​Around 8pm, everyone who came in costumes from SPOOKTACULAR will suddenly find themselves transformed into their costumes. Again, this is ONLY people who bought their costumes from SPOOKTACULAR. This change will last for 3-7 days, depending on what you'd like.

Some questions I got: this is more like Buffy's episode where you become your costume. It basically becomes real. Dressed as a cat? You're now a cat. (And not with your memories. You're just a cat.) Come as Captain America? You are Captain America (you'll still look like you, but you'll have memories and personality). Come as a serial killer........(Seriously, though, please don't come as a serial killer or you will end up being thrown in jail.)
