Okay so like... we've got good news, sort of, and also definitely bad news. We're just north of Tumbleweed. That's the only good bit. Also it's 1953 and the Korean War totally hasn't ended yet. I think it's the end of July it's meant to end so it must almost be done and this has got to be like the only time I've actually been glad my dad was my history teacher. Anyway they were not very friendly, since... my dad is Korean, the Japanese still aren't that popular either, and Ahsoka isn't even human. So it didn't really go very well. They wouldn't even give us some water for the walk back. But there was all these lights over the mountains that I guess might have been the pods coming down? So, they know where we are, pretty much.

20th century domestic US history was my dad's whole thing. His thesis thing was about Japanese interment camps which is just great dinnertime conversation. I'm pretty sure there's only a couple of hundred thousand Asians even in the country at the moment, they're practically banned from coming here. I don't know about Hispanics but African-Americans are going to be in the same situation as me I guess.

I briefed myself through a lot of it all at once over the last few months I've been in Tumbleweed, so I certainly don't think I'd know anything the way you probably do or others around here. And certainly not like your dad.

But you bring up a good point - for any being who stands out, this might be more difficult than our previous locations. Would you be willing or interested to work out how we might make everyone remain safe and comfortable while we're here?

Yeah maybe everyone who's going to be seen as not white should have a meeting or something and share all the details we can remember, once the camp's all set up and stuff.

That's not a bad idea at all, though I think that anyone who might not know how to "fit in" - that would include someone like me who's not even from this galaxy - might benefit from something like this as well.

Maybe we'll be really really lucky and they'll just leave us alone?

I guess probably not.

That would be ideal at least, but I imagine you're right and we won't be left alone.
