the black plot thickens (jono and sage!)
Jamie avoided paperwork for as long as possible. It just didn't make sense to Jamie. He could have whatever he wanted with a pull of a cord, paperwork completed or not. Reality was his to control. He didn't need anyone's permission.
But it was the details like this that made life more realistic, and so he did it. And with Sage prodding him, he was either guaranteed to finish fast or to toss them out the window. Whichever piqued his interest at the moment he turned to it.
Thankfully for Sage's blood pressure, Jamie did it. All the paper underneath the desk, all signed and sealed and internalized. Okay, maybe not that last one, but honestly, that was what Sage was for, right? He guessed that if there was something important, she'd read and remember.
God, he loved all the little people in his life.
That's why he had tea time with his team. Often. They could be in the middle of a mission, and he'd call them in for tea. Thankfully, he didn't think he was interrupting Jono or Tessa today.
Catering brought in a tray with tea and biscuits to the conference table in his office, and Jamie took a seat (and a chocolate biscuit!) while he waited for his employees.
