action [open]
[Patience spent all the time she had away from her kind but unfamiliar housing-mates working on some weaponry of her own after the oh-so-helpful doctor's kind advice, and she's snuck out on the streets now to use it.

If you venture close, you might note that not only does she have someone's borrowed shoulder bag slung and bulging over her shoulder but her hands are stained rusty up to the middle of her forearm, darker half-moons under her fingernails. A fine spatter of blood on her cheek suggests something has happened, but her frown suggests it was nothing satisfying and the howls are drawing steadily closer no matter what she does.

[Turn that next corner and you'll cross paths with a very blue and quite undressed woman, who's running a hand back over her hair as she licks a splat of blood off her cheek. Her foot is on the head of a monster, a flask in her hand. Turns out this one had on it what she was looking for.

Patience gets spared a look, though it could be friendlier.]

[Her lips purse over the monster and the flask; neither the blood splat or the nudity bother her at all. She just adjusts the shoulder-strap of her bag and nods politely.]

Any advice?

You're alone? [That's stupid.

She steps off the monster head and turns more towards Patience, her free hand now resting on her hip.]

I'm alone. [And she's not offering any extra information to combat the censure in her voice, just stepping lightly closer to examine how, exactly, the monster was killed. It's not obvious, but she's avoiding too close of proximity to Mystique for now.]

First mistake if you've never killed anything before. [She beat it to death and used a couple borrowed claws from a certain X-Man.

Stretching her neck.]
More are coming.

These are new to me, but killing is not. [She glances up and evaluated Mystique carefully for a second, taking in the fact that the wounds don't match her current physical form. Of course, the puppycat splattered all over the buildings a couple of blocks back don't match Patience's apparent abilities, either.] And there's no one here who I trust enough that I would feel safer with them accompanying me.

[She tenses noticeably, but keeps her voice even.] Good. I haven't acquired a flask of my own as of yet.

[She has to reevaluate you now.] Go for the throat if you can.

[Oh, have a bright and shiny smile!] Thank you. [She crouches down a little to poke at it, trying to get a good look at exactly what its throat entails - contours, covering, flexibility of the neck, while still staying perpetually tense and waiting for the familiar howl to sound unobstructed by buildings.]

[And the howls sound.

Mystique looks back over her shoulder to see a couple sets of eyes. She looks to Patience nonchalant.]
Your cue.
