Thanks again to everybody for giving this a try! I hope everybody enjoyed it. Below is a compilation of the order everyone died and how, how many points everybody died at, and everyone's kill count. Let me know if there's any other information people are interested in knowing.

In the final match of the Cull, SAM WINCHESTER will face off against DAMON SALVATORE.

This will function the same as the preliminary rounds.

Note that if the participants try to throw the fight by not fighting against each other, both their collars will explode. (So basically, someone has to die in this match or they both die.)

For this, you can either chose how the match will end or you can decide to use the points system to decide how it will end. (The person with the higher number of points wins.) The winner of each match will accrue half of the points of their defeated counterparts. If either person in a match requests the point system (comments are screened to this entry), the outcome will be decided by the points system. If I don't hear from anybody in regards to a match, the point system will decide the outcome.

The outcome to the match and the end of the game will be posted by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.

Sorry about the delay in posting this! (My Internet has not been great lately, and it was a force to be reckoned with last night.)

For the final event of the Cull, the remaining four tributes will find themselves transported to the middle of the island, where the Cornucopia formally was. Instead of the Cornucopia, there's now a sheet of concrete with ropes around it -- like a boxing ring. They all are also wearing collars again.

In the first match, DAMON SALVATORE will face off against HAYMITCH ABERNATHY.

In the second match, FINNICK ODAIR will face off against SAM WINCHESTER.

You can still accrue points via threads, network posts, and comments, but there will be no run-ins for now.

Instead, the only way you can accrue characters is by earning points from dead characters.

How will that work?

For every character that has been in the game, he or she will have eight points that they can cast for the remaining four. (Characters do not have to give all eight points to one character. They can divide them up -- say four to one, four to another; six to one, two to another; and so on and so forth. The only rule is that it must be whole points, no halfs an decimal points.)

Characters should reply to this post with their points. (Comments will be screened.) This should be done as who your character would be most likely to want to survive.

If you don't think your character would have a preference, you can ask the four remaining tributes to explain why your character should for them. You can do this in the wooing post, where comments are not screened. Remaining tributes should pay close attention to this to make sure they maximize their potential to get these points. With 37 dead tributes, there 296 points at stake here.

Votes should be cast by 11:59 p.m. EST Thursday, Sept. 24. The game will switch format on Sept. 25 for the wrap-up.

So, as stated in the calendar, your characters have the opportunity to sacrifice themselves to try and save another character. Half your character's points can be given to another character. (If you still have two characters in the game, you may sacrifice one character to the other one.)

This is on a first-come, first-served basis. Comments are screened. Make sure to include which character you are sacrificing and who you want his/her points to got to.

So, I just wanted to mention that I intended for this be an eight-week game, which actually puts the ending date as Sept. 26 (instead of the advertised Oct. 3). With the rate that people have been dying, I think the September date is more feasible, so I will continue to aim for that with the possibility of bleeding into a ninth week, if needed.

Week 07

Parachutes with items that belong to dead tributes will fall throughout the entire week. However, these parachutes will be first come, first served. Each day the parachutes will have a different theme to them, but you will not explicitly be told the theme. (You may need to answer a trivia question to receive them item; people from the same fandom as the item may receive higher or lower points; random changes of success getting to the item, etc.) So, don't assume that just because there are comments on a parachute that someone has gotten the item. These will be strictly items taken from dead characters, so there will be no bombs,

Sunday, Sept. 13: Tributes will wake to find that the southern half of the island has sunk below water. (All parts of C and D are now inaccessible.) If your character was in one of those, they will find themselves in a new location. Please check the locations to see where they are now. Remember that you can move your characters around at any give time.

Thursday, Sept. 17: Parachutes fall.

Friday, Sept. 18: Parachutes fall.

Tributes wake up to a message saying that they can save a friend's life if they want. For 48 hours, beginning 12:01 a.m. EST on Friday, Sept. 18, and ending 11:59 p.m. EST Saturday, Sept. 19, characters can sacrifice themselves and give half of their points to any other character in the game. A post will go up, with screened comments, where you can respond saying who you want your points to go to. You do not need another mun's permission to give points to his/her character. You may also sacrifice your own character to another one of your characters.

Saturday, Sept. 19: Parachutes fall and the sacrifice option continues.

Run-ins will continue this week, but the format will be changed slightly. You must have a spread of 10 points or greater to kill another character. If the spread is nine points or less, the other character will just be injured. If your character kills someone to win the fight, they will now win +15 points. If you win a fight, but do not kill the other character, you will continue to win +5 points. Injured characters will lose -3 points. I will continue to pull from adjacent squares to determine who they are fighting.
