CHAPTER TWO. THREAD. Thane & Irissa.
WHO: Thane and Irissa Raidan.
WHAT: A chat between siblings. Thane turns up in her quarters, he's bored and thinking.
WHEN: 4th Feb, 2208. A few hours after this.
WHERE: The Morningstar, Irissa's suite.
RATING: G currently.
In all honesty there were very few boundaries between the siblings, to Thane at least. Phsyical boundaries of doors and rooms had long since erroded and Thane didn't even think about it as he passed into her quarters and took up his usual spot on her couch. Lounging across her sofa, a glass of scotch in one hand and, for once, a thoughtful look on his face. He was nicely rumpled, black shirt slightly open at his throat, dark jeans nicely worn in and his feet bare. Thane's effort was without bounds apparently.
When he in this sort of mood, thoughtful and just a touch bored, he would often visit her, finding her rooms and presence a calming influence. Within her presence he had little need to play up to the silly notions people have of him, he could lounge without consequence and think without being called on that - how strange, a thoughtful Thane? Never!
There was no impatient to him despite Irissa not being around, he did not demand her attention as he might others and never thought of it as him being made to wait. He had after all chosen to come up here himself. Instead he relished the moments of quiet, allowing each second to wrap him up and drift him into thoughts of the past week.
Dante came to mind easily and for once it was not the thoughts of skin on skin which preoccupied him but the tease of information on Joséphine. He was sure that Dante had an idea of who she was, beyond that mask of blonde and a fact which was of high interest to him though he had no reason for it right now. Joséphine and those games were like a side order, some onion rings and most certainly not the prize steak of the main meal. She was nothing but a distraction and delight. Though he was looking forward to killing that brat she kept at her side.
