Greetings beloved Earthlings. It's Jess (Falina) and I've really, really missed you. Even you, people I don't know yet.
The mods were wonderful enough to accept me back into the game, after a long time away. I'm eager to make up for the lost time and the lost lines, and get back into the thick of it with you guys.
I'm bringing back the one character for now, Rhone, as he seems most relevant to the current plot-happenings. I'm currently dusting off his application/bio, as it's hella long and hella old. Follow the cut for the breakdown. Feel free to ask about anything that you don't see.
Orlesian in the house! Rhone was born and raised in Val Royeaux. At twenty-five, he got saddled with Mage-sitting in Montsimmard. His only reprieve has been Chanter's Board fetch-quests, apostate tracking, and marching on the Orlesian-Dalish. You know, Templar stuff.
He's 31 now. A few months ago he came to Ferelden to impart the far superior Orlesian way. He took a two week pit stop in Highever, then stationed at Kinloch Hold. He has never been, nor will he ever be again, as bored as he was at Kinloch Hold. He probably didn't make many friends at his post, didn't overly fraternize with the mages, and likely appeared severe and unsympathetic to them in general. He was there two months before the start of the Warden Tournament, which he attended with the mages.
Rhone had a crappy childhood. His mom died, as most parents in Disney movies do. Rhone ended up in the Chantry orphanage. He quickly turned into a little jerk: he lied, stole, fought, back-sassed and swore. He also flirted with the whole street crime thing, but the local Revered Mother put a stop to that like a boss. He stopped the stealing, and some of the fighting. He scrubbed many floors and painted lots of fences.
His father was from the Tevinter Imperium of Evil, and was a horrible bloodmage. He collected 15-year-old Rhone from the orphanage. His dad was like, 'hey, let me blood-magic with your blood', and Rhone was like 'hey, how about you not'. It ultimately led to a cowardly showdown and Rhone killed his sleeping bloodmage dad. Rhone returned to the Revered Mother in Val Royeaux, and started his Templar training shortly thereafter.
Rhone hates demons, bloodmagic and weak willed people. He tracks down and kills bloodmages without exception, and has followed every directive issued to him. He's a damn good Templar, and doesn't ask too many questions. He doesn't have much in the world, so he's pretty clear on what his place in it is.
He's less likely to follow Grey Warden missives, and very likely to play semantics with secular law. He enjoys gambling, sleeping with the womens, and drinking.
Most of the apostates in the party were revealed to him via group thread. Let's fill in some gaps, shall we? Also, looking at the two options for the upcoming plots:
