Who: Terry Boot, Kingsley Shacklebolt & Theodore Nott.
What: Theodore's charming attitude helps him make new 'friends'. Said friends display the patience of saints.
Where: In front of the Healer's Department.

I do not blindly believe everything he says just because he's the Minister. I believe in him because he is a just and fair man who truly cares for his people and would do anything he could to help them. Because he has proved all those things to me over the years I have worked for him.

Who: Fiona MacFusty, Terry Boot & Kingsley Shacklebolt.
What: The Minister summons a curse-breaker to discuss the black spot behind Borgin and Burkes, as well as the barrier itself.
Where: The Ministry HQ.
When: August 30th, 2004.

"Have you noticed if it moves randomly... or if it seems to have some purpose to it?"

Who: Kingsley Shacklebolt
What: An important speech and warning.
Where: The center of Diagon Alley.
When: Early afternoon of Wednesday, 3rd of September.

Once again, the magically enhanced announcement echoed through the Alley: "All Alley patrons, please report to the main square for a conference with Minister Shacklebolt. All Alley patrons, please report to the main square."

Kingsley stood on the makeshift podium in the center of the square and watched in silence as the crowd gathered. It had been quite a while since his last speech, mainly because he'd be so occupied with arranging all sorts of things and keeping an eye on the progress in the barrier. Most of the news so far had been spread by his Assistant or his other advisers and workers. But with the recent developments of the black spot near Borgin and Burkes, Kingsley had decided that it was time for an official speech.

As the swelling of the crowd finally settled, Kingsley cleared his throat, pressed his wand to it, and silently cast Sonorus.

When: August 11th 2004.
Where: The Leaky, then at the barriers.
What: Charlie gets sucked into Diagon Alley and gets a most interesting welcome.
Rating: PG?

Man, I'm working with *dragons*, not people. If you were to ask me about a curious accumulation of dragons I'd guess it's mating season.

What in Merlin's was he supposed to tell him? 'Your twin is dead but we won, so cheer up and party?'
Who: George & Charlie Weasley.
When: May 2nd 1998. After the Battle of Hogwarts.
Where: Hogwarts. An abandoned classroom.
What: George deals with the shock of losing Fred and Charlie fusses.
Rating: PG-13?

The next thing that George noticed was that Charlie was sitting next to him, trying to wipe some dried blood off his cheek.

Who: Kingsley Shacklebolt
What: Making a speech to the trapped crowds.
Where: The middle of Diagon Alley
When: The afternoon of Thursday, 14th of August.

Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt stood up on the makeshift podium of crates and surveyed the crowd which had gathered around him. For nearly four full days now he and his team of helpers had been trying to blast through the bubble-like ward that surrounded Diagon Alley. And so far, they had had no success. The people were getting restless, his workers told him, as if he couldn't sense it himself. Everyone seemed tense and on edge, and he had a feeling that if he didn't say something soon, someone was liable to explode.

So he'd instructed his helpers to gather everyone they could find into the square with the help of a magically enhanced announcement that echoed through the Alley: "All Alley patrons, please report to the main square for a conference with Minister Shacklebolt. All Alley patrons, please report to the main square."
