Sookie stood up and looked around, barely taking in her surroundings and the fact that a tropical island had snow and it was freezing. All she could focus on was that Eric was here. Eric Northman was on this whatever it was. She snatched the purse that she had grabbed when her boat had capsized and marched towards the huts that she spotted. Hugging herself tightly, she was dressed for tropic weather, a skimpy bikini and a sun dress. Not two feet of snow.

She was shivering now as she looked around at the huts. People obviously lived here, and she wondered where they were. Probably keeping warm and not standing outside in the snow, she thought to herself. She shook her head, the relief of being nearer to Eric than she had been in weeks was overwhelming. But her frustration at having been capsized into the ocean, only to wake up soaking wet and on a freezing cold anomaly had her pretty ticked off.

She stopped her foot, throwing her bag down. "Eric Northman! You show your face and you show it right now!"

Sookie watched Eric as he fixed the fire and hung her clothes up. She sighed and curled into him when he held her. It felt nice to have this and she forgot how much she had missed his hands in her hair. At least if she had to be on this island she had Eric.

"I will remember that about the other vampire. Thank god I'm only a quarter fairy, I would hate to have to fend him off." She shook her head and smiled a little. "Though, I do finally have what I've wanted for a long time. That is, you, all to myself."

She starred at the fire for a while, falling into a comfortable silence against Eric. She twisted her neck to look up at him. "You're gonna have to teach me to rough it. I've never been in a situation like this."

'The other vampire isn't a bad guy. I don't think you'll have to worry about him. He's not even aware of fairies. His world... vampires aren't out of the coffin. It's not the same as our world.' It was just one of the confusing things about the island.

He smiled a bit at Sookie's comment. 'I can do that. I expect I'll be teaching a lt of people. The blizzard destroyed plants and crops, and folks are clueless as to what to do. No idea what they can eat safely.'

He looked at her, smiling softly, before he lowered his head and kissed her lips.

Sookie nodded. "I would be surprised that he's from another world, if I hadn't been in another world just a year ago." She looked back at him, smiling and kissing him.

"I can garden...Well, I can grow flowers, Gran had me do it. I could help with the crops."

She bit her lip, looking up at Eric and stroking his hair. "I've missed you so much, Eric." She turned and wrapped her arms around him, just wanting him to hold her.

Eric's arm kept her close to him. 'Mmm. A year ago that passed in only minutes for you.' He rested his chin on her head. 'The crops that were growing have all been killed. They'll have to start over. I can provide for us--me and you. And maybe the others,' he said, a bit reluctantly. He wasn't big on the idea of taking care of strangers. 'I've been hunting animals for their blood and skins. I'll bring them back here at times for you to cook. We'll manage.'

He kept her close and laid them down. 'I've missed you too. When you... made your decision...' He closed his eyes. Hearing her say that she wasn't choosing between him and Bill--that she was choosing neither--had hurt worse than most anything. 'I love you. I'm sorry that you have to be here, for us to be together, but I'm glad that you're with me,' he admitted.

Sookie curled up into Eric's arms as he laid her down, she pulled the pelt around her closer, kissing Eric's neck lightly. "We will manage. I know we will."

She rubbed his chest with one hand out of an affectionate need to touch. "That was the hardest decision I've ever made in my life, Eric." She thought about how bad it had been for her when Eric had left. "When you left, I knew I had fucked up." She laughed. "Pardon my language."

Eric laughed quietly. 'Sookie, this may come as a surprise to you. But running a vampire bar? And being alive for a milennium, I've heard--and said--far worse than fucked.'

He nuzzled her hair and said, 'I can understand why you made the decision. Doesn't mean I liked it. But I get it. Just... promise me that... if for some reason Compton shows up here, we don't go back to that same thing?' He tried to hide the vulnerability he felt.

	She laughed. "Yes but, Gran taught me to have manners and to not swear. I am a lady." She sighed, loving the way he nuzzled into her hair. "I don't want Bill. I'm so over him. You have my word on that, Eric." She looked up, turning his eyes to face him, she stroked his cheek. "I am...yours." She whispered, kissing him again. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	'Manners are good. But so's letting a good curse fly on occasion.' He returned her kiss, slipping his hand under the pelt and over her bare skin. 'Yes. You are mine.' 	Sookie gasped into his kiss, sighing when she felt him pull himself out. She slid one of her hands down and stroked lightly. "Oh, I almost forgot how big you are." 	Eric rolled them so that Sookie lay beneath him. Everything since she'd made her decision was forgotten. All he needed was this, Sookie, with him. 	Eric didn't waste any more time. He sank his fangs into Sookie's neck and drank hungrily. He'd been living on nothing but animal blood, and not only was human blood better, in his opinion, but being part fairy, Sookie's blood tasted even better. 	Sookie cried out when his fangs sank into her neck. She dug her fingers into the back of his neck, pushing her hips up to meet him. She released against him, melting under him. "Eric...oh fucking hell, Eric." She kissed him greedily "You are so amazing..." She nuzzled her face against his neck. "And I'm all yours." She felt so happy to be with Eric. Eric kissed Sookie back deeply. He shifted a bit, rolling them to their sides and pulling her in against him, holding her securely. 'I love you,' he whispered.

He made sure that they were both wrapped up in the pelts, and closed his eyes. 'Do you want to stay in here, or do you want me to build us a cabin?' he asked her.

He liked the cave--it afforded protection on 3 sides, and wouldn't blow away in a stiff wind. But he knew women liked actual houses and such.

She closed her eyes, humming softly as she was wrapped up in vampire and pelts. "I want to stay here, it's safer for you. Plus I could make it a little homier, maybe a make shift door at the front."

She wanted Eric safe, and the cave was the best place for them on this freaky island from what she could see. "I love you so much, Eric, and I will not lose you again."
