If anyone could understand just how odd time was and the big questions about losing yourself or your name or your personality, it was River. Life was so incredibly complicated, and there was no shortage of it getting any less complicated. There would definitely be a time when no one would ever remember who they were. There would be no legacy. River figured that one day she would be completely erased. In all honesty she kind of deserved it. Perhaps the things she had done would still be there, but the nameless thing that had done them wouldn't be there. She preferred it that way, when it came down to it. She knew how impossible it was to have any kind of relationship in life. Her partnership with Yuuto was the closest thing that she had to one, and yet could that even be trusted fully?
River smiled and gave a little bow back. "It is a pleasure to see you as well, Deneb." Thankfully it was okay for them to have not seen each other for a long time and then pick up where they left off. They both trusted and yet didn't trust each other. The way it should be. She gave a bemused sort of look. "No, I dare say you're not. Cooking is entirely overrated, even if doing the eating isn't." Why couldn't food just sort of appear?
She nodded shortly. "I saw him. He's hiding something. Some kind of injection.. but I can't tell what's in it. He always thinks he can get to me. It's a real shame he doesn't murder people, or we'd all be in a lot of trouble."
