Who: Nudge/Merlin
What: A lesson in magic
When: Now
Where: Library
Staus: Closed
Rating: None
After talking to Merlin, Nudge found herself quite excited, but also a bit nervous. She left a note for Deacon and headed to the library to wait for the boy. She settled a table, and began to think about the things she'd want to learn.
But Nudge couldn't come up with anything off hand. When she pictured Magic, all she could come up with were the illusions that could be easily explained away by practical means. And in that case, it was technically not magic at all. It was mere trickery. She hoped Merlin wouldn't be trying to convince her that those things she thought of were magic.
The girl stood up, and paced the room. The books were against the shelves, and she liked them that way. She also liked the computers. She hadn't touched them yet. She feared she'd accidentally tap into something she shouldn't.
She'd been around Jeff and Deacon a lot since they'd taken her in so it wasn't any surprise to her that these few seconds she was away from them brought on a sense of intense loneliness. Nudge pushed that away, and tried to think of what was to come. She was about to meet a legend, if, indeed, he was the real Merlin she had read of.
