Remus didn't particularly want to hear about the details of what happened to Sirius that night, but he knew it was necessary in order or them to figure out what happened. The smallest detail could prove to be the most telling for them, so anything Sirius remembered would be useful. Still, it wasn't easy for him to listen to it. He didn't want to hear about Sirius and Lucius, and he especially didn't want to hear about how awful it was for Sirius. At least if it would have been pleasant, Sirius could have enjoyed himself. As much as it broke Remus' heart, he still would've been happy for Sirius if he'd been happy about the union. But he was anything but happy, and that was the hardest thing of all for Remus.
"I think so too," he said. "That's when all of this started. We need to figure out who he was talking to, and what they were talking about. Obviously Malfoy had something planned. If you remember anything more, tell me. The slightest thing could make all the different in the world, Padfoot." He chanced touching him again, placing a hand gently on his back. "But if it's too hard, don't hesitate to lean on me.. On any of us.. for support."
