"Where you thinking about having a dance with me?" He asked, walking with a brisk stride, as if he wished to get as far from the entryway as was possible.

Which he did, quite a bit. Dominic had just caught sight of who he suspected was Adelaide and...Rabastan?

It made Dominic want to laugh, and hit something all at once. Which, honestly, made no sense to him and he tried to ignore as he looked back to his own date.

"I suspect you're a fine dancer after all, Alecto." He said, smirk being forced back into place. "Have I told you how lovely you are tonight?"

Alecto smiled sweetly at him. "I am a fine dancer." she said with a laugh. She had to go to all of these functions, after all, so dancing was part of life. As much as she used to hate it.

"You have not but its alright. You look rather dashing, to be honest." she said with a smile, as she swept away from the entryway with him.

Dominic walked steadily down the pathway with her, smile charming on his lightly tanned features, anger pressed low in his chest cavity, far from reaching his eyes just yet. "Perhaps we can teach each other a few new moves."

Dancing was something Dominic enjoyed, a surprising fact to most people that had learn this, which he never understood. Dominic enjoyed the intimacy of the ritual, and found it to be similar to many other sports he sought out in his life.

"I suppose that means we make a gorgeous pair, hmm?" He asked, tone teasing. Alecto was a fine partner for the Ball, someone his parents would approved of yet it was difficult to think of this as more then a simple agreement.

No matter how rude that might have been to the young lady, if she were to find out.
