Remus worked as quickly as he could to get the bindings off. He didn't want anything holding Sirius down; though, perhaps that was a bit reckless. Something could have still had a hold over him when he awakened. Snape hadn't seemed to think so, but how could he know? No, Sirius didn't need to feel like a prisoner anymore, either in his own mind or his bed.
He'd just gotten the last of them off when he felt a slight shift on the bed. Sirius was waking. Remus moved quickly up near the head of the bed so that he would be close when Sirius came to. "Hey," he said softly, and smiled at him. He looked a little more like himself. Maybe that was a sign, and not just wishful thinking. "Here." He reached over to the bedside table and filled a glass with water he'd kept in case Sirius needed it. "Slow sips," he instructed as he held it to the other boy's lips.
