Remus followed along behind James, trying to mimic his motions and stride so as not to lag behind or slip out from under the cloak. He didn't really want to think about what they were going to find when they got to Sirius, but worry had most definitely begun to creep in on his psyche. He was a worrier by nature, and did not share in James' confidence. That didn't stop him from frowning at his friend's words, though.
"I'm not loopy," he said quickly. He was level-headed almost to the point of being insufferable. ...Except when it came to Sirius. James was right, and he knew that, but he didn't really want to admit to it right now. He just wanted to find Sirius and bring him back to the dorm before--
They were coming upon him, and Remus could hear the sounds of the rabbit in its dying moments. "Is.. that.. Wh.. What is he doing?" Perhaps he was going a little bit loopy. "James..." He'd defer to his 'leader,' as James was in all of their schemes. But he really just wanted to run out from under the cloak and get him. Instinct was trying to take over and propel him forward, but he didn't move just yet.
