Sorry, I'm not going to be around much this week. My show opens Thursday, so we're heading into tech week with all guns blazing. and my other show begins rehearsals sunday, so all in all a crazy week for me! But you guys feel free to play at the party, my lads'll tag in when they can.

Hey guys! Wanted to send a quick note apologizing for disappearing! My roommates wedding is this upcoming weekend (the 28th) so I've been preparing for that and I just got a brand new job! Hurray! I swear to god I am here. SWEAR it. Honestly, though, finals are coming up for me (omg yay) then I have a month before summer classes start (also yay?) but works been running me into the ground. I swear to god I need a new job before I lose my mind. XD so yes I'm sorry for those who need Alecto or Nyx. I'm really sorry. Try kicking me via EMAIL. I can check that at work. Who knew working 10 to 2 [or lately 9 to 4] would wipe you out and leave you to hang! Subway is evil.
anyways, I'm trying. Spring's coming which means my open weekends are few and far between - we bought a new house last fall so now we're renovating the outside and part of the inside and we're doing it on = SURPRISE = weekends! Plus we have 15 chickens in the mail on their way here! [ZOMG chickens] and my mom's stupid sick. [Actually this only bothers me when she has to go to the ER at 12am and CALLS me]

Hey guys -
I hate to do this, but I need to take a bit of a hiatus. I'll probably still be around, but I don't know how -there- I will be. Basically what's going on is that I found out a friend of mine was killed, may have been murdered. We're slowly uncovering details, but the investigation is slow and kind of nerve-wracking. I've been really up and down, sometimes RP helps to distract me and keep me calm, but sometimes I just can't get my head in the right mindset. So, yeah, I apologize but I don't think I can promise to be here right now. This is my official notice of pseudo-hiatus.
Additionally, I have a short film coming up next week, and while that shouldn't affect my ability to post, on top of the emotional mess I am given the circumstances, who knows where my head will be.
Feel free to contact me by email or AIM if you need anything from me. I'm still willing to plot and play, I just don't know how fast I'll be.

just fyi i may lose internet for a few days\week. Earthlink cancelled my account WITHOUT my authorization (and NOT for non-pay, we pay on time). Ive been on hold over 75 minutes now and it cuts out at midnight. it's 10:25pm now. so i may need a hiatus bc this is bs and im pretty stressed!!

Sorry I've been away for so long! Things got really hectic for me all of a sudden between work, kitty cat illness, and my co-mod in another game suddenly vanishing on me but I think I've finally got everything under control and everyone well!
I know I missed the Malfoy Ball ;_; Sad. If anyone wanted to RP with Rod there we can add it in, I think, otherwise I'll just say Rodolphus was there and oddly well behaved!

I apologize if I get behind again. I sprained a couple fingers pretty bad this weekend getting thrown off a horse into a tree. Among the full body aches and my face looking like road-pizza, I still have to go to work. So I've been getting home and literally crashing into bed. I hurt and am too tired :( and typing hurts. A lot. SO I'll try to get to tags I owe ASAP.

I suspect most Purebloods would hate Gilderoy, and others would just dislike him. Wheres' Umbridge is bound to be on better terms with a select few others. Forgot to add--he's also whimsical, prone to talking about Divination as if it's a God send, and rambling about stars and their meaning. Expect lots of BS from him!

KONNICHIWA! I'm a rather sleepy Trin today BUT I am alive. This weekend ate me. Weekends are amazing for that some weeks. ANYWAYS.
I bring you Nyx Evangeline Burke - Her father owns one half of Borgin & Burkes. She's the unlikely girl, though, as she landed in Hufflepuff! (Oops?) Her dad doesn't love it, but as she's the only daughter, only child, his late wife gave him so he loves her anyways. And secretly hopes she's not a pushover.
First Impressions: Nyx is outwardly a sweetheart, cheerful and kind.
She talks with her hands and is half-Sicilian (her mother was Sicilian). And tries to be friendly towards everyone. However if you're lucky enough to know the real Nyx, she's cunning and capable of real cruelty. read all about her then come back and tell me:

Hi guys! Spoon here with her last character (for now >.>). Please say hi to Adelaide "Adel" Selwyn. She's a Ravenclaw, although she loathes being one. She wishes she was in Slytherin as she believes she has the exact qualities and views to be in the noble house. She plays Quidditch (a beater) and tends to keep to herself. She had a nasty fetish for torture (Jess we gotta plot about her and Bella becoming friends/close), but only those closest to her know that. She's appealingly sweet on the outside but has quite a bite if she doesn't care for you or thinks you lower than herself.

Hi guys! Spoon here with the newest girl, Riona Wilkes! She's a 6th year Slytherin with an interest in becoming a DE. She's not a "hardcore" pureblood aka she doesn't loathe all halfbloods or muggleborn's. More, it's something she believes in because of her older brother Michael, who just passed away. She really looked up to him and with his passing, she felt it was necessary to follow in his footsteps.
She's very outspoken and isn't afraid to say what's on her mind or give you her honest opinion (good friend or not). I have a few friends written in for her, but I'm really open to all kinds of interactions from people! Her full information can be found here!

JUST FYI I started my new job today. It's turning out to be jack and shit - who gets to work six hour shifts without a single break? THIS CHICK. Who's pissed off? This chick. Who also hates standing for six hours on a hard floor with no rubber mats to soothe the aching knees? Yeah. This chick. I may lose my mind and it's not worth it.
ANYWAYS so I'll be scarce for a few days. I train 9 to 3 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday and Have an 8 hour shift on Monday (NO BREAKS.. again) then I should be on my 4 hour 10am to 2pm Shifts. SHOULD.
*grumbles*
so if i'm slow to reply that's why.

I'm gonna be out of commission for a couple days. THE BEST WAY TO WAKE UP IN THE MORNING is NOT Folgers in your cup - it's falling down your stairs. (to be fair they're spiral and carpeted (who ever carpeted these before we owned it was a fucking asshat)) so sitting is rather uncomfortable and I'll be spending a couple days in bed. I saved my tail bone at the expense of the rest of my ass and nearly bashed my own head in. SO i plan on taking it easy. XD I'll try to be online but uh, I may just pop a couple pain killers, sit on the ice pack (today, heating pad tomorrow) and pass out for a couple days. IT HURTS SO MUCH.

As for Rodolphus, you can read his profile here. He's graduated from Slytherin last year so while he's no longer in school he still knows who everyone is. During his first couple of years at school he was a mean bully, always in trouble, but soon realized that was a big no no if he wanted to get anywhere inconspicuously and cleaned up his act. He was a Beater for the Slytherin Quidditch team his fourth through half of his sixth year when he was forced to leave the team for letting his competitive nature get the best of him. Unlike many other Pureblood bigots, which he is (and very loudly), Rodolphus has always enjoyed engaging all sorts of different people despite their blood status. I'm sure it's no surprise to anyone to learn that he is a Death Eater and immensely proud of it. It kills him that he can't brag about it but thankfully understands that he needs to keep such things to himself.
