Emma gave Miss Cuffe a smile as Adrian led them to the other side of the dance floor, away from the annoying woman who he was escorting. It had been quite easy to notice his annoyance and she had to admit she was glad when they broke free of her. The music was soft, Katie and Marcus weren't causing too much drama, though, she really did feel that keeping away from one another would've been the best course of action. Perhaps she ought to start telling them what she thought they shouldn't do… Then they'd do the opposite.
As Emma slid comfortably into Ade's embrace, she was slightly startled by the sheer size of him. At five foot two and a hundred pounds, she was well aware of how tiny she was. This was made evident every day at the Falcon's facility but to be dancing with Adrian Pucey? It was a little overwhelming and that, in itself, was terribly odd.
"I do love it when I have Falcon's players in my debt,' she said, giving him an amused smile. She followed his lead, noting his expertise at dancing. She had a feeling he excelled at everything he put his mind too. He wasn't quite like Marcus Flint or Clint Warrington. There was an altogether refined air and calm that reminded her of her other life. "Don't worry," she said sardonically. "I'm positive I'll have to collect one of these days."
Emma idly smoothed a piece of lint from his coat as they danced. "You look very nice tonight," she said, with an approving nod. "You clean up quite well."
