In contrast, Marcus rarely put an effort in the circle the room. He may have invited them all here, but once they were here it was their own job to find their way. Half the time he didn't want to talk to whoever it had been that had found him anyway, so he most certainly wasn't going to help that along.
Had she been anyone else, shew as sure Lexi wouldn't have been so alright with sharing her birthday. Katie, however, had apparently earned the right. For the most part, Lexi didn't mind sharing the attention with Katie. Likely because she was Adrian's brother and Clint had never wanted to actively seek out a shag. Or at least, that's what Marcus' figured was the reason. Either way, he supposed it worked well for him. He only had to deal with one party instead of two ... and there would most certainly have been a less then stellar ratio of Slytherin to Gryffindor at a party just for Katie.
Returning her kiss, Marcus smirked as he pulled away. "No one would believe you anyway," he responded, knowing his image did not include anything adorable. Kissing her once more, he nudged her forward. "Go deal with your friends before they come over here." He instructed, eying the Weasley returning Katie's wave. He had no interest in being some lab rat for some half-wit. "Me and my reputation are going to get our drink on."
