Lexi wasn't surprised. Had Adrian taken Emma home to meet his Mother, they all would have heard about it. She knew Clint had gone to speak with the older woman, but that was about as close to an Emma/Elizabeth interaction as it got. As for Emma's aunt and her dissatisfaction about her lowly husband, Lexi wasn't really all that concerned. Same thing happened in the Magical world. Quite common, really. Not everyone could marry up. She supposed those same people could look down their noses at her, as she was doing just that, but it wasn't marrying up or down for Lexi. She didn't care one way or another whether she was at the top of high society or excluded from it.
"I'm sure it won't be long before Ade's dragging you out to the Manor for Sunday brunch," she went to lift her drink to her lips, but hesitated a moment, "which is a real thing, by the way." Lately they had all been rather busy, but Sunday's at the Pucey household wasn't anything new. Even when Phillip had been alive, Elizabeth had still insisted they all come over.
Making a face, she shook her head. "Let's not think about them procreating. There's enough obsessed Quidditch nuts in this little group. Breeding more is inevitable, but there's no need to rush it." Emma did have one thing right, however. Lexi couldn't really imagine them with a kid. It was far too weird for her. Hell, it was weird enough seeing them all but snuggling in the middle of this party, let alone thinking about them with a kid.
Emma's ring, however, was something she could happily discuss. "That seems like something Adrian would do," she responded, drawing Emma's hand a little closer so she could expect it a little more. "It is pretty." Maybe it was just the size of Emma's hand but Lexi was pretty sure that diamond was bloody huge. Leave it to Adrian. She laughed at the hormones crack. "Please, I'm just as happy with my own," she grinned, "I'm just better at keeping the sappy moments out of the public eye."
