"She sounds pretty smart," she responded, pulling her hand back and raising her drink to her lips. There was no getting around missing a sibling once they were gone, you just learned how to live with the loss. It never did go away. "You know, despite her opinions on premarital sex and having children outside of wedlock, you do have the option of talking to Elizabeth. She has given birth to two Puceys after all." She paused there to make a face and shrug. "I'd let you speak to my Mother about the whole twin thing, but she's crazy and I doubt you'll get very far with her."
She smiled lightly, her eyes flicking back to the boys. "They're all surprisingly good with them," she admitted. She'd had the pleasure of seeing them in various situations that Emma had not. Perhaps the most surprising was Marcus. He'd always been willing to humour Tori and Lyssy's silliest ideas without complaint. Despite his big bad attitude, he wasn't so bad. Lexi was sure it had something to do with being an only child. He was the only one of the lot that was. Dealing with younger siblings wasn't something he'd spent most of his life doing, so it wasn't such a chore for him.
Brushing aside thoughts of her brother and children before she could get too lost in it, she grinned and turned her attention back toward Emma. "So when were you going to show me your rock?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She wasn't surprised she had a ring of her own. This was Adrian, after all. "It's been blinding people since you got here."
