Weird pair was putting it mildly, she was sure. No one was going to get used to this. Hell, sometimes she still stared at them with surprise. It had been too many years of bickering and rivalry to simply forget it and the images of their previous interactions still popped up from time to time. Of course, then there was the fact that they were two very different people joined only by their ridiculous obsession with Quidditch and their sheer will not to put a label on their relationship.
Her thoughts returned to Clint, as they often did when he kissed her, happily letting go of whatever it was she'd been thinking about before. "Thank you," she smiled, currently quite content to stay right where she was. She did, however, raise an eyebrow when he mentioned her gift being at home. "Well now I have all sort of thoughts on that."
She stayed with him for a few minutes longer, but was inevitably drawn away by familiar faces until she eventually found Emma. Someone she hadn't seen for quite a few days.
Adrian, on the other hand, honestly hadn't intended to find himself talking about business. The conversation hadn't even started with it. Pleasantries brought up the mention of one thing or another before suddenly they were talking about the last big contract to come through the office. So when Clint appeared beside him, he gave his cousin an amused smile and shrugged. He supposed he couldn't get away from work. Even here.
Tying up the conversation, Adrian turned his attention toward Clint. "For a Marcus Flint party, this is pretty tame. I'm impressed."
