Katie felt decidedly awkward and wasn't quite sure how she wanted to proceed. She'd finished her meal and most of Marcus's.... perhaps it was time to go. She stood, feeling uncomfortable and handed Marcus some money to cover her share of the bill, something she didn't do. They hadn't split a meal before. Either she'd covered it or he had but this whole... questioning thing from Lexi and being demanded answers had her feeling like perhaps she ought to prove that they weren't dating and this was a sure fire way to do that. In what, usually, ended in a few snogs and a short apparition to one of their places, leaving like this actually felt a little odd.
"I'm just going to head out," she said, avoiding Marcus's gaze. "See you at practice." Glancing at Lexi she tried to smile but it didn't quite reach her eyes. "I hope you have a good date," she said, feeling oddly worried about their friendship. "Seriously didn't mean to take your table." She gave her friend a smile and a small wave and headed out, stopped only once to take a picture with a fan. What a strange night.
"Man," Clint said, swiping a roll from the basket. "If I'd known that's all it took to get that bint out of my hair, I'd have asked her all that shite ages ago." He chewed, thoughtfully, curious. He was with Lexi and her disbelief but it was a wait and see sort of thing. Watching Marcus, he raised a brow. "Maybe you should go find someone else," he said, thinking it over. "Whatever that is isn't going to end well anyway. Pack up and move on." He grinned, teasingly. "Besides, you don't really want Lexi pissed off at you and I'd prefer some modicum of harmony in our little affectionate group." Besides, they already had to adjust to Ade's mudblood. Adding in a Gryffindor bastard didn't really rank on his desire list.
