She sighed softly when he asked about the guy situation. She followed him out to the car, not exactly reluctant to tell him about it, but reluctant to relive the memory of finding out that her best friend had been sleeping with her boyfriend for the better part of six months. "Trevor and Rachel were sleeping together behind my back. I'd just rather not deal with the whole dating scene and stuff. I want to start over, you know?" She gave a small frown and a shrug.
He spoke of her grandmother and she smiled softly. She had loved the woman so much, and when she had died it had broken her heart. She didn't want to forget her former life in England, she just wanted to get away from it for a while. But having Zachary around would help her with her homesickness. She would miss her parents and siblings terribly.
It wasn't long before they pulled into his driveway and she smiled at his enthusiasm. She followed him into the house and then on his impromptu tour. His house was amazing and picturesque. She liked it a lot, but she also didn't want to disturb his privacy. "I love you for thinking of me, but I think I might just get an apartment. I don't want to be in your hair or come and go at all hours and disturb you." She put her hand on his arm, "And I know you're going to say it wouldn't be a problem, but I would feel better. Is that okay?" She wrinkled her nose slightly, not wanting to hurt his feelings.
