Let those wedding bells chime! Who: M’ken & Zaharel What: Getting hitched Where: Babylon’s Unitarian Church When: Wednesday Morning Rating: TBD Status: Incomplete
Zaharel slid the plain golden band onto M’ken’s ring finger and felt his entire body sing. It might be hard to describe that to a human, but an angel would know what he meant when he said his body was singing.
You may kiss the groom…
The leader of the angels smiled and gave his beloved soldier boy a chaste kiss, as they were in front of the preacher, his granddaughter and M’ken’s witness. They had plenty of time, after they all went out for a nice dinner and drinks, for kissing and so much more.
They had kept their wedding very small and quick, but they both knew how binding the ceremony was and how their Lord knew what was in their hearts. Zaharel had been like a runner just before the starting gun all morning. He couldn’t even tie his own bowtie; thank goodness for Ella! He had brushed through his golden locks three times and checked for M’ken’s ring probably every ten minutes.
Now, he was wearing M’ken’s ring and M’ken was wearing his and it was going to be slow torture to sit through the reception/dinner, even though he loved his granddaughter and thought the world of the reverend…and truly wanted to get to know M’ken’s friend. He would try to be good, but no matter what the topic, he was afraid that all he would be thinking about was stripping M’ken out of that tux.
