A walk in the garden
Who: Letha and Sin (Letha says this is ironic cause she is good at sinning)
When: Week 9: Sunday August 24th. I’d say about 3am-ish
Where: SdV House
Summary: Letha is enjoying the quiet, calm night of no rain in the gardens and thinking over the recent attacks and the break in of BTG
Warnings/Rating: Cleaner than a whistle.. okay, maybe language? Letha doesn’t curse but who knows about Sin haha
Status: Closed; In progress
Letha tried to remember when the world wasn’t going mad. Only eight months ago life had been as it always had been; the supernaturals obscured from the humans. Life moved along effortlessly.
Everything changed seven months ago. Joshua and then Patrick had decided what they thought was best for the supernatural world, never thinking of the consequences their actions may bring. Had someone not killed Joshua themselves, she might have done it herself. Hell had followed in the wake of those two, making life even more difficult for the supernaturals as a whole.
There had been riots of sort, people with their hate-filled words, crowds gathered outside known supernatural places… She had heard there had been crowds outside of the SdV house, too, during the day but they were always gone at night. This had worried her, due to that the vampires in the house were all asleep. There was security, of course, but she wasn’t sure that would help those that might want to break in the home.
Zombies had come in to play not long ago, as well. She, herself, had fought against the necromancers and brought them down. How the city government had been able to swing that it hadn’t been because of supernatural beings was beyond her. Who actually believed a chemical spill brought the dead out of their graves?
Now there were attacks. There had been a supernatural attack. Poor, darling, Liliana had taking a good beating she had heard. The men had been grabbed up by police, lucky for them. Still, there were other attacks happening; not to supernaturals but to humans. It seemed absolutely random, but she feared that it was not. When it was too good to be, it generally was.
Someone wanted it to be random; so random that they had broke into BTG. The attacks might, or might not was her guess, be connected with the attacks, making everything seem even more random.
It wasn’t a good feeling; nope not at all.
What could she do about it, though? Security was upped at her house and the BTG, she asked SdV members to not go out alone, but she wouldn’t prevent it either.
She felt relatively helpless.
Though she had already been out once tonight, she decided a walk in the garden might help. Stepping outside, she took in a deep breath and let the scent of the fall flowers and plants of the garden ride over her. Not long ago, landscapers had come and got the gardens ready for fall. It was beautiful, really.
