Letha understood. The time she had been with Roman had been great; someone she had thought she could spend the rest of her life with. Then he was gone, presumed dead though she never had found his body. "Antiques?" She asked, lifting an eyebrow in question. "It probably is best to learn that from a vampire," she commented. "I have a few myself at the SdV house. Do you collect them, then?"
"I don't know if one would call me noble, really," she shook her head slowly. "I...I had a family once, made my own, but it was all destroyed," she stated. "When I came here, I decided that instead of turning those, I'd take those in need in," she explained. "More out of selfish reasons, maybe. I don't want to be purely alone."
"Oh members of SdV are free to come and go as they please," she answered the girl. "They may live within the home or have their own. Honestly, though, most live within the home." She didn't understand why be a part of the family if you didn't want to live there; still she didn't force the issues. "But, as in most covens, packs, or any thing else, there are rules and I expect those to be followed without incident."
She almost laughed at the question of crazy happening in Burlington. Almost. Instead, she lifted the glass to her lips and took a drink before she answered. "You are not up on the news, darling, are you?" She asked. "Since the vampire and wolf that came out months ago, it seems crazy happens almost daily," she sighed. "Humans don't take kindly to change and aren't accepting of the fact that though they are just learning of us, we have been here for centuries. But, I suppose the craziest thing so far is the necromancers raising the dead. Zombies, if you will. I'm not entirely sure of the their game plan, but it happened."
