Damon made his way to the room that Effie was staying in in the Boarding House. He couldn't believe that this was happening. He was less that pleased with Effie right now for actually killing someone. He walked into the bedroom and saw Effie was half naked and Miles was laying on the bed, dead.

"Fuck," he said, getting more annoyed now that he could actually see that Miles was dead.

She made a face at him, pulling on his shirt and half buttoning it. "You still didn't answer me about why you don't think she should transition," she pointed out as she crossed over to teh bed and taking a seat. She crossed one long stocking clad leg over the other before reaching out gently petting Miles' hair, a fondess in her face that she hadn't meant to reveal.
