Orsino didn't think drinking was the best course of action either. But there was always the plus of it helping people relax. Ah well, he wasn't really in the mood for it either.
He made a face at her, "I suck at picking at random," he said handing her the remote, "You pick." He was thinking along the same 'no romance' train of thought as her, but it was true he sucked at picking movies. He contemplated it to much. There were to many options for him. Options, he thought, they can be good and bad. Like if he were given the option of tons of different kinds of beer but he could only chose one. Total torture to his mental state in his opinion.
He noticed her resistance, but could barely suppress a tiny smile when she caved in. He knew she would. They were both butter to each other. They would melt at the smallest touch or want. It was kind of sad, but true. "You know I won't bite you or anything," he said softly, stroking her arm. He was looking at how she still shied away from him. "Get comfortable. You won't be poisoned or something if you're really close to me. I promise. But it's uncomfortable and awkward for the both of us when you're so far away." I know you don't want to be, he thought to himself mentally. I don't want you to be either. He didn't say any of this out loud of course. He didn't want her to leave.
"Frankenstein might be on. The older one that is. I thought I saw it on the options list a week or two ago, you'll have to scroll. Or if you see any thing else..." he trailed off. She would pick something eventually.
