Hi everybody!

Bobby is organizing a party, and while the sign says tomorrow, I am going to post the party today, and people can tag in any time in the next few days. Slowtimes are naturally in effect until needs be. Please consider sending your pups to make new friends (or enemies), get back in touch with people who they haven't seen around, and generally try to get enthusiastic about this game again.

What do you say? Come on! It'll be fun!

My apologies to anyone threading with any of my pups (Bobby Drake, Mallory Grace, Ginny Weasley and Hagrid), but my laptop just took a dive and I cannot even get it to start. My desktop has been out of commission for months, and I am using my son's computer (one with missing keys in the key board) at the moment to post this. It is not an ideal situation, so any further tags from my pups tonight will be extremely slow and sporadic, if they come at all.

I'll work to get his rectified as soon as possible, but seeing as I have no money to get a computer fixed, it could take some time.

Sorry. I will try to check in through other computers in the meantime.

Just trying to keep you updated. I tagged as best I could near the end of last week and replied to everything, I think.

Then the week went to Hell at work, leaving me wiped, and we spent the weekend dealing with tearing down a friends fence and rebuilding it - and all the joys and frustrating delays and weather interruptions involved. Man, I hurt in places I didn't know I have...

*sigh*

I will reply to tags that have accumulated since tomorrow night, and will ask in a fresh post, once I'm done, to have folks let me know if I've missed any.

Everything went off-line this weekend, RPG-wise, and I'm playing catch-up everywhere. Too tired to try to do a sweep of Cube tonight. Looking forward to getting caught up Here. :D

Between the camp that I worked at for ten hours five days a week for eight weeks that completely made me exhausted in addition to the job I already had and the fact that I've really just spent the past two weeks getting back to my regular routine, I'm answering threads now, since it would really be nice to fix the ones that have been dangling too long. If I haven't replied by Sunday night, I didn't get a notification so tell me! 

I'm also going to get some open posts for Spike, Martha and Dawn, and if you want to do a thread just between one of mine and yours, I'm good for that, too, though Martha's going to be of the Skrull variety...as soon as I post it, like I've been meaning to for weeks now. Heh.

Anyway, the point is that activity will be coming from me in the next few days.

So I had a thesis to write, and I got it done last weekend, only to be struck down by a bug of evol. Then I had people over, and saw David Tennant in Hamlet and died of squee. (So. Amazingly. Wonderful.) And now I have a cold of fail.

Arg!

I'm also looking for a job and a new flat, so it'll probably be another week till I can get back to the swing of things. And I have a lot of stuff to organise and get sorted with my charries, but I should have them all back to normal in a week or two. Sorry I've been so scattered. Hopefully things will calm down soon.

I am still sick and it will be slow going. I know some people are wanting to wrap up threads. Whatever fits for them and I replied to the guy going to the clinic in hopes for a if, if anyone wants some plot, i am sure they can come along for the ride.

Has the game completely died out? No one's posted in a pretty long time. Are we calling it quits, or is everyone busy, or what's going on?

Well today is my last day at work for two weeks and so Leland, Maureen and Lizzie will be pottering round the residence and doing stuff but I won't be controlling them.

Anyways.

The important stuff: I am flying out next wednesday but won't be online much between now and then anyway.

I'm back 14th Sept.

I have tried to keep my threading down to a minimum in the run up to this and I think the only threads I have outstanding are either Kara/Lee There is one Maureen/Derek, one Lee/Obi-Wan and one Lizzie/Obi-wan and Lizzie/Doctor. And Lee/Kara/Kitty dinner in.

Anything I've missed or anyone and gods forbid I've offended anyone.

Hi Everybody! I have just found out that I have let at least two threads dangle without tags because I got NO NOTIFICATIONS that I had gotten replies. I may be a good idea to check and and all of your open threads for tags, since IJ has done some maintenance and such lately, and notifications may have slipped through the cracks!

I will also be sending out an email to all players as a precautionary heads-up.

I'm so freaking tired right now, I can't articulate.

The point of this post is that I've only just got home, after a very long day - it's 11:48 pm for me - and I'm exhausted. I know I did a tagging sweep on the weekend, but I mentioned to some of you that I'd do another one tonight.

I was hi-jacked by Reality and it isn't going to happen. My apologies.

Okay, I've just finished another sweep and to those who have already tagged me back - thank you. :)

I didn't have as much tagging to do as I thought I would, though, as some folks haven't tagged quite a few of my threads in a few weeks.

I know I can't be around as much as I'd like, but I don't want anyone to feel they have to finish a thread that they really don't want to continue playing anymore. I've mentioned that I'm not fond of poking people, as I know how busy life can be - trust me on that one, please, I do know - so on the weekend - time permitting - I'll be putting a tag on threads that I think must be done, as they're getting old. Some of them were started before the Skrull plot, when there wasn't a Manager or staff, and the game has sort of moved on.

And I know sometimes a certain Muse will take over for a bit, and you'll want to RP them instead, and I understand that, too.

So, no pressure or anything, but unless I hear from you, I'll just... do that, and add a 'wrapping up' tag.

I'm not a fan of dangling threads...

Here's the deal. We have a resident that has been sick for some months, and whose condition has not resolved itself. A notice was put up saying that the residence was going into lockdown, but the mods misunderstood the basic idea behind this, and believed the lockdown to be voluntary on the part of the players.

Now the quarantined resident is STILL ill, and so at midnight on Wednesday (going into Thursday), all residents will be locked in their suites, and unable to leave for a forcible quarantine so that the entire residence can be disinfected.

A couple of hours before this happens, the housekeeping staff will visit each room and leave behind an explanatory letter from the management, a kit containing special shampoos, soaps and mouth wash for residents to use to kill any infectious bacteria they may be carrying. A harmless (to all sentient life forms) disinfectant will also be dispersed through the ventilation system throughout a forty eight hour period. At the end of that time, the doors will be unlocked, and residents will be allowed to leave their rooms and carry on with 'normal' life.

By the end of the forty eight hours, the illness WILL be expunged from the residence and patient zero, though the patient will be held in quarantine for an additional week for observation, with no visitors allowed, except for medical personnel.

Please feel free to post what your pups are up to in their suites, whether they are in their own suites or were spending the night elsewhere, how they react to the lockdown, etc.

Hello there...

I've been doing pretty much weekly sweeps with my character threads. This week hasn't happened yet.

I was going to do another sweep on Friday night, but no...

I was going to do a sweep today, but with all I have to do between now and the next hour, I'm not even going to get my nap in before the family birthday thing - which will eat up the rest of my day, I think.

So I thought 'Hey, I'll tag tomorrow' - and now we're going to a friend's place for a BBQ.

All good stuff, but gah, I wanted to catch up here. My apologies to those who are waiting. I'll tag as I can, but this weekend is going to be spotty.

I forgot to mention this like, oh, say. seven weeks ago, but I've been working at a summer camp, where I spend ten hours a day, five days a week in addition to the weekend job I have. I managed to answer a few threads this morning, but all else will have to wait until tomorrow. Thankfully, there's only one more week left of camp.
