Lavi nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean," he agreed. "Sometimes you just need to run into someone with a totally different perspective before you can see that yours might not be the one and only true way." His gaze was distant, remembering the truths he'd been forced to acknowledge about himself.
A moment later he shook it off, and got to his feet as well. "Ma! We won't find out anything sitting around here, and exploring will be much more useful now that we can communicate about what we find," he said cheerfully. "Shall we see what we can see today?"
