"Er..." Lavi tried to think of a simple way to explain the situation with his eye without words, and failed. Hell, he'd never even bothered explaining it to anyone at all before - Bookman already knew the story, he was the one who'd figured out how to deal with it. And as far as Lavi knew, the rest of the Order assumed he'd lost it somewhere along the way.
"It's... no good. No good." He made an 'X' gesture with his free hand across his face, not sure how else to say it. It wasn't exactly a lie - the eye itself was perfectly fine, but it was certainly no good for him to try to use both of them. He'd go crazy in short order.
Figuring he wasn't exactly being rude if Albel had started it, Lavi gestured at obviously empty space where the other man's arm should have been. "Why?" he echoed the same word Albel had used.
