Albel stared when Orha produced another of those pyramid things. It was different from the one in the house where he'd stayed the previous night - smaller, for one thing, and portable.
He watched as it started to flash, trying to figure out what Orha might have said to set it off like that, and what its purpose was. "What are you doing?" he asked. Surely even if Orha couldn't understand the specific words he'd spoken, he'd get the gist from the context of the question.
