Daphne had considered working in a faster paced department, but her skill with Potions came in exceptionally handy in the venom department. Her knowledge of off the label usage of various antidotes and other potions was staggering despite only qualifying as a Healer a few months before.

"We do have one patient who refuses to let us heal his burn the magical way and says he wants the cool looking scar from the muggle way. Since he's not in any danger, we're letting him, but he has to stay here until we're sure it won't get infected," Daphne said, rolling her eyes. Was it that worth it to have a dragon shaped scar?
