We have yet another frozen animal; a deer, this time. Past our perimeter. This time, however, it was accompanied by a Grounder, who I believe was hunting him. His arrow notched and frozen in place with the rest of him.
If any of our magical types or doctors would like to examine them, I can escort you there before it gets too dark.
PRIVATE ENTRY IN EVIE'S DIARY:
I was stupid. Last night. I don't normally let down my guard that easily and talk that much, and so openly, but the topic was there and I didn't feel comfortable lying.
I could, of course, have brushed him off. I normally do, as he reminds me so much of Jacob. And maybe I simply needed to say it publicly and get it off my chest, even if it is no one's business but my own.
Henry, freak me out? Please. Even the idea of marriage doesn't particularly cause anxiety, but I think at this age it's fair for me to know what it is I want. I do still maintain that Henry would make a fantastic Husband, he's doting, clearly he likes my company and I wouldn't have to lie to him. But I am most certainly not ready to "settle down" - I don't know that Henry would even ask that of me - but it's what everyone expects, even from an Assassin. My mother did it, and while I'm happy to be alive, at what cost? Her life for ours. That is what a mother has to give to her children.
I like children, yet I'm clearly not in the right mindset to approach everything from that angle. Yet. Perhaps with time.
Ezio Auditore is here. The Ezio. Father would be beside himself if he knew we got to look at the Sword of Altaïr. It's almost as good as being able to walk through Edward Kenway's mansion. But Signore Auditore will remain an ally, even if I'm sure he finds us immature and amusing after our antics. Ah, well, it was fun while it lasted, and I was in a good mood from helping Alfred.
Even if we did cause a minor snowbank explosion.
