-- But have a majority of the Skaikru even said the things he's accusing them of saying, or are you just basing this off a few cowardly anonymous messages that could have come from literally anyone, maybe someone planning to incite chaos? We can't assume we know how all of them feel. Who's actually saying this to our faces? And who took us in and made sure we had food and water and shelter?

-- And aren't we? You can't say we're not. It just comes from a place of fear, Billy. People are afraid. Magneto talking about killing them doesn't help. It makes it worse.

-- Okay, point. Magneto is terrifying when he's threatening mass murder. I don't know how to show them they can trust us though. What happens if they decide our good intentions aren't good enough? I think Magneto's coming from a place of fear, too. Admittedly, it doesn't excuse mass murder, or threatening it, but he's seen this sort of stuff before.

-- He's doing it so that one day everyone will be able to look to him and say, you were right, except he actually caused it in the first place. That's what he wants. He wants all of you to forget about the rest of us.
