There is too much yet to do to speak to everyone, so I will say it here: Thank you all who fought last night. You acquitted yourselves well, and we lost not one life, soldier or civilian. I could ask for no more.

And if you see Kili in the tavern, buy the dwarf a drink. Without his work with the scouts, we would not have had the knowledge to prepare so well as we did to survive this.

	Well, you win for worst sleep. I've spoken with most of them now. I have been relieved to find that they all remember the time they spent here before. 	Dorian and the Hawkes could probably offer their perspectives and have them be valuable. If what I heard of this magic is true, then it could have far-reaching complications many will not wish to excuse without proper measure. Hopefully cool heads will prevail. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

From what I have seen thus far, Dorian is furious. I would not count on him for a cool head. Not that I can blame him. No one deserves to have magic twist their selves and lives up into something else like that.

Which is not to say I will be advocating for execution or Tranquility or anything of that nature. There must be some assurance that this will not happen again, however.

	It certainly makes it easier. What I do hold some very personal anger for is that because of this spell, we were forced to defend the mountain with but half our usual forces. The damage that was done here could have been entirely avoided if we could have gone on the offensive as soon as we were aware of the goblins and their plan. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
