So...as everyone's noticed, the game's not been very active lately.

After some discussion between the mods, we've decided to revamp the premise and tweak the rules. Take a look so you'll be clear about everything, but the biggest change is that our pups will no longer be the actors/musicians in an alternate reality. Instead, our pups will be portrayed by the various actors/musicians. Think of it as them being cast in a movie set in a 1920's speakeasy. What this means, though, is that you may need, or want, to change your pup's name. We hope you'll decide to stick with current first names, but the choice is entirely yours. Surnames, though, should be changed. For instance [info]filler_up will now be known as Nathan Fillbrandt.

The other change you should be aware of is that all plot advancement will be in the hands of the mods, but that doesn't mean we don't need the pups to play! Every two weeks, beginning September 7, one of the mods will post an Action Post advancing the plot. Pups will then have the ensuing two weeks to respond to that development - although we won't pounce on you if you want to respond to an old Action Post after a new one's been posted - and how they react will determine the next development. We aren't deleting any of the old threads, and are staying with the currently developed plot. We'll be posting a timeline of events to this point before the first Action Post goes up so everyone can refresh their memory.

What we'd like from all of you now is to let us know if you're still interested in playing and the new names of your pups. Please comment to this entry by September 7 so we can all know who's who from here on out. And while you're at it? Pimp us to your RPing friends, let them know we're looking for players, and don't forget - you can have up to three pups in the game!
