Amarissa shifted her hands a bit inside the pockets of her coat, able to feel her fingers going cold and numb from the frigid temperature of the air. The disdain in Kastra's voice was entirely evident. But then again, why would Bellatrix Lestrange ever want integration to become an issue? It was the exact opposite of what the Death Eaters had worked for and had been a direct result of the war. It wasn't surprising in the slightest that the women would do everything she could to work against Integration succeeding in any shape or form.
"Spain would like to observe the reactions that England has before rushing into any decision about integration." Amarissa answered neatly. "It's certainly a possibly that Spain may integrate as well, but not a scenario that our government wishes to blindly venture into." And that much was true. Spain probably wouldn't want to integrate any time soon, but that wasn't to say that they weren't going to run into issues and dilemmas simply because England had decided to integrate. With England's declaration, their whole world was now a curiosity for the Muggle world, even if Spain wasn't deciding to let them openly wander and explore just yet.
Better yet, her answer sounded delightfully neutral. It was just another benefit to the cover. Amarissa couldn't help but wonder how deeply Bella had managed to infiltrate the Ministry already. Was she going to be able to effortlessly block Amarissa at every turn? It was a thought that made Amarissa's stomach curl and clench slightly. That would make things so much more difficult. Especially if Amarissa managed to grab Bellatrix and take her into Spain. Would the British Ministry notice that Kastra had gone missing? Would they care?
