Owen didn't wait for the okay. He knew that this particular form of head trauma continued to get worse if not treated. The swelling would just expound upon itself if left unchecked. He set up the IV in no time and slipped the needle into her arm. It would relieve the swelling, probably fast enough there would be no permanent damage.
Owen quickly started to assess the rest of the trauma. "I don't think there is any other spinal injuries. Not like a car accident or a sports injury." He turned to the Doctor and held out the scanning device. "I'm gonna need your help on the chest. Two hearts... you are going to need to point out what I am looking at in there."
