G e n e r a l R u l e s

Age Restrictions:

Because of this game's adult content, players must be of their area's legal age for that content (in general, 18).

Activity:

We strongly suggest at least one post and one thread a month from each character. If you're having RL issues, please let me know. I understand real life happens, and no one will jump down your throat if you don't respond to a thread immediately. However, if it’s something that will keep you away for a while, please send a message to stillthedoctor@gmail.com, subject "Who RPG".

Number of Characters:

For now, we are willing to accept up to two characters from one player. Those two characters may not be involved romantically with each other, whether in canon or in the game. Other than that...

OOC Community:

Come here to discuss or clear plot ideas with other players, post questions for other players or your mods, or let us know about temporary absences! Basically, this is our communication tool, so use it! The roleplaying community is for roleplaying, logs of roleplaying, and links to journal roleplaying.

G a m e p l a y

Format:

Narrative, present tense. Please use quotation marks. Examples forthcoming.

Mechanics:

We're all human (wellll, most of us), so typos and grammatical errors will happen. But please, make a decent effort to spellcheck before hitting post. Using proper grammar and punctuation is highly appreciated.

Headings/Titles for Entries:

Call the entry whatever you want, as long as it has something to do with what you’re posting. There is no standard format for this.

Other posting rules:

If your post is longer than one normal paragraph, please place the body behind a cut using <lj-cut text="With the link text of your choice">.

If your post is meant for response by specific players only, please make note of this in small text ooc info, such as <small>"tag Rose and Jack"</small> or <font size="1">Companions only</font>. If there is no such note, it is assumed that the post is free for anyone to respond to.

We prefer the majority of play to be shared on the community rather than in personal journals, where it may be missed. Posting links or fake cuts to your character journal is fine if the situation calls for it. Personal journals may be used for backstory, history, or useful info about your character. IMing is also fine if you post the chatlogs to your journal (if it's backstory or "private") or the community.

No wank tolerated.

No player drama. (Character drama is encouraged. They can't ALL get along all the time. Just don’t kill anyone. Unless they can come back. But clear it with them first.)
