Jack had forgotten that he was cold. Tessa had distracted him, and warmed him up at the same time. What a good thing that was. His feet were being blocked in by a couple of hairy mutts, so he rolled himself over, on top of Tessa, laughing as he did. "Lucky me," he said, kissing her lips for a bit longer this time. Funny how it didn't feel like the middle of the night any longer... it felt like a lazy Sunday afternoon when he wanted to spend the whole day in bed. Maybe he could call in sick to work tomorrow.
