WHO Charlotte and Jack.
WHAT Charlotte is hella pissed off and is driving to go and see Jack so she can vent and get a sense of comfort and rebel against her father's wishes, because he would totally disapprove.
WHEN After this happened.
RATING TBA
STATUS Incomplete.
She was seething. She was on the brink of tears, and she couldn't even think logically at the moment. It was her life. She wasn't some puppet that he could twist and abuse to his wishes. Charlotte had always been willing to please her father before, and had even gone to extraordinary lengths in order to do so, but if he couldn't be proud of her for doing something she had a passion in? If he hated her for aspiring to be a doctor? So be it. she didn't care any longer. She wasn't going to let him walk all over her and try to build her up into some unhappy life that she wanted nothing apart of.
That was all he ever did, come to think about it. all he ever did was contradict her, or criticize the way she thought. Charlotte couldn't even remember the last time she had heard him say that he loved her. She couldn't recall the last time he had hugged her, or told her how proud he was of her. Was she not good enough for him? Did she make him so upset that he couldn't even tell her he was proud of her? She would have even of taken empty words at that point.
Blinking back an on-slaughter of tears, the grip she held on the wheel was fierce as she drove away from the house she had grown up in, not daring to think about how mad her father was. Her mother would calm him down. But her? She couldn't trust herself to think or really do much of anything right now. She was hardly aware that she wasn't driving to her own apartment until she turned onto the block where she only parked on one occasion. she wanted to see Jack. He would understand, certainly. She didn't want to talk, really, she simply felt the need to be close to him. In her subconscience mind, she knew that being with Jack, especially at this hour and for this purpose, would make her father beyond upset, and perhaps that was a reason why she was carrying through with it, but she would never admit that - not even to herself.
It wasn't long before she found herself at Jack's door, and she was knocking softly, quickly working at wiping away what tears had managed to escape her resistance.
