Alex nodded. "Nothing serious, it really is just a flesh wound." He replied, his tone falling easily into the professional monotone one again. "One end of the laceration is deeper, typical really, the projectile's initial force is here and decreases as it grazes across the skin...it'll need closing." He muttered, squeezing the cloth so salt water went into the wound. "Signs of infection...may need draining if the salt doesn't cleanse it. Healing's been slowed...probably from the use of alcohol. It tends to clean the wound but also slows down the rate of healing. Salt water or even just soap is better." He dropped the cloth back into the bowl of water. "Can you dry the area while I get some sutures ready?" He asked, although it was more of a statement than a question and he didn't even look at her as he spoke.
