Lee listened to the broadcast, over the handheld army radio he carried, again to check he was correct in the direction he was heading. It had been a few days since his dad and the remaining soldiers had been killed, Lee hadn't stopped running until he was almost dead on his feet and had wandered aimlessly for a bit before he'd picked up the broadcast over the radio.
Approaching a street with several abandoned cars in it, Lee raised the rifle he carried. He was taking any chances. He stepped lightly, bright blue eyes scanning the area and taking every little detail he could. Movement from the corner of his eye caught his attention and he swung the weapon round to point in the general direction.
"Hello..?" He queried just loud enough to earn anyone in that area's attention, preparing himself to shoot if he needed to.
