Who: Remy and Rogue Where: Kitchen When: Saturday after lunch What: They actually made it to the second date! Rating: Probably PG
Regardless of what anybody said, Remy believed that idea with all his heart. It was a stupid thing to believe, but hey, when your morality says what the hell, it's just property when you're robbing someone blind, beliefs can be a bit weird.
He'd taken over the kitchen after the lunch crowd went through. He had crab and crawfish straight from New Orleans waiting in the freezer for some gumbo, and the makings for hush puppies and a pecan pie tucked away in a corner on the counter. But what he had brought to the forefront was an array of simple ingredients - sponge cake, cream cheese, whipped cream, sugar, cocoa, and instant coffee.
He was sans one of his usual trench coats, wearing a long-sleeved shirt and some jeans, both ready for the heat and mess of the kitchen. He whistled as he prepared ingredients for his later ventures, waiting for Rogue. He hoped they didn't delay her release from the infirmary or anything.
