Who: Remy, open to all! Where: Pool House When: Tuesday night after dinner What: Poker party - with some great rule bending
Remy's date with Rogue had left him a little tame somehow - he hadn't even been the one to first suggest bringing the booze. But he brought out some of the stash he kept: the usual good stuff, some rum, bourbon, and whiskey. He hoped Brian might bring some stuff for mixing if anyone wanted something not straight from the bottle. Ah well, if not, maybe he could convince them to try it straight. He had plenty of cartons of cigarettes, too - he hadn't had a smoke in a couple of days.
He left his party supplies nearby as he cleared off a table, dropping an unopened pack of cards. He wanted to give them a little reason to trust him. He draped his trench - filled with more cards in its pockets - on a chair, lifting a bag of poker chips and setting it by the deck of cards.
"Ready for some bon temps!" he exclaimed to himself with a grin, stretching a little. He hoped everyone had gotten the e-mail -- especially Rogue. He hadn't seen her at dinner and she hadn't replied. He hoped she would show up.
