Hera had once been queen of all the gods. The entire world had bent to her will, her insanity, her needs. But with Nyx in place, that was changed. And with Rhiannon's past still in her mind, Hera herself wanted to change. The first place the start was with her equals, she thought.
Just about to answer Persephone, the door rang again. "Excuse me." They could have servants, Zeus and Hera - even Preston and Rhiannon - but, they did not. Answering the door, Hera smiled. "Lady Amphitrite. Welcome. You're just in time. Come."
She lead the third of the trio into the foyer where she'd left Persephone waiting. "I don't know if you are familiar with one another yet, but I know you have at least met once in the past. Come. I have refreshments waiting for us." Stepping in front, she took on the hostess role easily and brought the others to a sitting room where there was water in a pitcher waiting, wine from Dionysus, a variety of meats, fruits, and cheeses, and a few sweets.
"Please, sit. I know we all feel we're on unstable ground to a degree, and I wanted to... Well. Get to know one another. I confess I don't know that I have a grand ulterior motive, other than to put us all on equal footing where we once should have been all along."
